News Comments b1.2
I was going to wait until I had time to make a proper news article on the website but I haven't had the time. I pushed a few updates to the server over the last month updating our News Comments plugin to beta version 1.2. It's a massive overhaul of the design, profile avatars, staff icons, etc. I have added threaded comments as well as direct replies to existing comments so users can reply to each other. I also added some general stats below the avatar image for in-game xp as well as how many days a user has been logged into the hotel. All staff members rank 5-8 will show a little icon next to their avatar to show it's a staff member commenting. (I've featured a before and after photo of how this new system looks)

Comment Points "CP:"s for short where the more users comment on articles the more points they get.

Flash Client Updates
The flash client has been updated thanks to the legacy team which allows for persistent client background activity when using the flash client through the homepage. You will no longer be disconnected when you don't have the flash client directly forefront. You can go browse the web or do other activities on your computer without having to worry about you Casper session being interrupted. I have personally tested this and had Casper open for an entire day in the background with zero disconnects.

Traxplayer Homes/Groups
TRAXPLAYER on Casper Homes has been updated to a new source from the oldskooler team. It's written in HTML5 and no longer has any desync issues. Feature your favorite track on your profile like 2008 again. Right click on the traxplayer to download the selected trax as an mp3.

News Articles Videos
I have finally pushed code that allows us to pull videos from Youtube, Tiktok, Twitter, and Instagram directly into news articles for rich articles and hopefully help with some events in the future. (This is more internally for staff) but users will obviously be seeing videos/or posts on articles now.

Homes & Groups Update
You can now use videos on your Casper Homes or Casper Group pages. How to: Add a sticky note to your page, use the Youtube bbcode: view code here and publish and save your page.

Please note we reserve the right to modify your page or remove any videos from our platform if this feature is abused. I want this to be an enjoyable feature for groups that maybe feature music, video/movie reviews, or hot topics. Maybe you want to share your favorite meme to a group. Likewise any abuse will not be tolerated.
